Our Christian Identity

Good Shepherd Church is a parish characterized by orthodox faith, traditional worship, and evangelical preaching, teaching, and outreach.

Our purpose is to be a family growing together in the knowledge, love and service of our heavenly Father; and in the power of the Holy Spirit to minister to all in Jesus' name.

Our Catholic and Anglican/Episcopal Identity

Good Shepherd Church is a parish of Christ's One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. As such we seek to proclaim, teach, and live the historic Christian faith: that which down through the ages has been believed "at all times, in all places, and by all."

Our parish is within the jurisdiction of the Episcopal Church, the American province of the Anglican Communion. This branch of Christ's Catholic Church was established in England by the third century. Now found throughout diverse cultures, it spans the globe, numbering over 70 million souls

The Parish Staff

Our new Rector is Fr. Stuart Smith. Fr. Smith and his family are most recently from Memphis, TN but are now settling into the Granbury/Acton area.
